Your Great Ocean Road Tour

Much More Than Just a Day Tour

Start your long-anticipated day on the Great Ocean Road early to get ahead of the crowds and have most of the morning lookouts to yourself. Enjoy more photo stops along the golden, wave-swept beaches of the Surf Coast to give you the perfect start to a day to remember.

Prepare to be in awe of the ever-changing landscapes, the white sandy beaches, and our grand finale, the world-renowned 12 Apostles and simply breathtaking Loch Ard Gorge.

Spend your time watching for an abundance of wildlife along the route, including dolphins, seals, whales, giant eagles, scatterings of cockatoos and king parrots, and the Aussie favorites, the kangaroos and koalas. Spend time searching for these iconic animals during your tour along this sandstone and wind-swept coastline.

Listen to stories that bring the coastline and its native animals to life as you are driven in comfort in a fully air-conditioned 10-seat bus with relaxing contoured seats and huge panoramic windows. Join in our chats and also enjoy some quiet time as we realize the importance of being able to sit and marvel at the scenery without constant chatter around you.

Your included lunch has a distinct Aussie theme with a variety of meals to enjoy at a wonderful café frequently visited by huge numbers of native birds, including the breathtaking crimson rosella and the brilliantly coloured king parrots. Try an Aussie pie, hamburger, schnitzel burger, or quiche for your lunch amongst the many meals on offer. Vegetarian or vegan? No problem; we cater to all diets and needs for lunch. There is something for everyone.

Your day builds up to a crescendo of anticipation as we drive towards the Shipwreck Coast and the world-famous 12 Apostles. During the journey, you hear stories including the naming of these limestone wonders, how they were formed, and some history of the rugged Shipwreck Coast you are entering.

You arrive at the 12 Apostles Marine National Park and have the chance to spend time viewing and photographing the emotion-raising limestone pillars you have waited so long to see. Take some time to just stand and stare. Because we arrive ahead of the huge afternoon crowds, you have some extra time to feel a part of the biblically named formations. You will not need to be reminded to smile when you come back to the bus.

Just as you are thinking that this tour is just brilliant, you are introduced to Loch Ard Gorge, named after the 300-foot clipper the Loch Ard, which was sensationally wrecked here in 1878, losing 52 of her 54 souls on board. Enjoy the best part of an hour exploring this mind-blowing section of the coast and just be in awe of the Razorback, Double Arch, and Island Arch formations, plus the Shipwreck Walk and the breath-taking beach of the Loch Ard Gorge. What a grand finale! You will remember this forever.

Enjoy some chill time during the trip home as you drive through sheep and cattle grazing farms, dairy farms, and Aussie bush. You can have a nap or enjoy the drive through the Victorian farmland.

You get home by 5 pm thinking to yourself, “what a day”.
